Hi, im Sam. I’m 39 years old and a mum of 4 children and 2 step children. I live in Orpington, Kent and currently have my own beauty cabin in my garden where I do nails, individual eyelashes, waxing, facials and soon to be aesthetics. 

I qualified as a nail tech in March 2017 and only started my business as I needed a job that was more flexible with being a mum with young children. I loved nails so much but needed to start adding more treatments so in March 2018 I took the plunge and trained in eyelash extensions, and that’s when my business really took off. Since then I have done lots of training, adding lots of different treatments to my list of services I offer, with my latest one being aesthetics training I completed in August 2023. 

I love doing all sorts of crazy nail designs on peoples nails and also offer a press on nail service so people not local to me can still wear my art work. I currently have some super cute character nails I’ve been working on that are on my social media, some being Minnie Mouse, Bowser from Mario, and even a full set of the cartoon Recess!

I am so passionate about my job, and I love making people feel confident about themselves, that I wanted to take things to the next level, so in March 2021 I decided to become an educator and gained my Ofqual regulated AET (award in education and training) and opened my doors to students to share my knowledge, passion and love for all things beauty. My training academy was set up in December 2022 and I have trained so many people over the last year that I have watched go on to make successful businesses out of the training they received. 

My clients will tell you I’m funny, welcoming and make them feel at ease, I say I’m just me! Everyday my ideas are going crazy and I’m adding so many new things to the list of things I want to offer… the latest being my shop, where clients can get cuticle oils, lash shampoo and other bits to keep them looking and feeling great between appointments, and my students and other people in the beauty industry can stock up on all the essentials needed on a daily basis at an affordable price. I also offer a press on nail service where I will paint almost anything you desire on a set of nails for you, to wear again and again as our press on nails are reusable. 

I have big ideas and 2024 is going to be another rollercoaster I’m sure, however it’s going to be the best one yet I can feel it… keep checking our latest news page to see what crazy ideas I have come up with next, as I’m sure there will be something for everyone.
